Sean Loteczka bested a field of the top 30 bowlers in the state to take home the 2017-18 Catsup & Mustard Tournament Series Finals title in April at Johnson's Lanes in Hamden.

Jeff Corneliuson and Mike Caro could not be separated at the Catsup & Mustard Duckpin Challenge at Holiday Lanes over the weekend.  Each scored an impressive 847.  Kevin Martin of East Hartford was right on their tails, scoring 841 and finishing in third place.

After starting the day with thirteen marks in a row, Rick Ganoe cruised to a victory at the Prime Propane Duckpin Classic at Lucky Strike Lanes in Mansfield over the weekend.  Some impressive bowling was on display all-around as  seven bowlers logged total scores over 800.

After two weekends of competition the duo of Kyle Shaw and Josh Lowell held on to the top spot in the Sports Communications Doubles (Catsup and Mustard Tournament Series Event #4).   It was a fantastic event with a great turnout (despite some snow on weekend one).  Thanks to Lucky Strike Lanes for hosting and Sports Communications for sponsoring! Andy Cox topped Mike Santore by only 5 pins to win Catsup & Mustard Tournament Series Event #3 held in honor of Mariellen Vogt T Johnsons Lanes November 10-12.  Kelly Dansereau finished third.

Dan Richmond won the 2nd Catsup & Mustard Tournament Series event this weekend held at Ducks on the Ave in Hartford.  He shot  777 scratch to beat out Erik Loteczka  by only 4 pins (handicap included).  Matthew Ganoe was only three pins behind Loteczka and claimed  third.

After discussions with the board and Laurel Lanes, the decision has been made to cancel the Hollmark Team Championships.  Although many bowlers expressed interest to me, the other board members, and the proprietor, not enough followed through ​in entering to make the event viable. The board will work with Laurel Lanes to add a tournament series event at the center for a date later in the season.

With that said, there are plenty of exciting BAC events on the horizon.
